Translation & editing

 

Vivien is an experienced Dutch-to-English translator, specialising in texts on international relations, history, art history, visual art, social science and politics. She has translated dozens of books in these fields, as well as exhibition texts for museums and scholarly essays for academic researchers.

 

In addition to translation, she works with clients to improve the impact of English-language texts. This can range from proofreading to substantive editing and rewriting.

 

Vivien is a full member of the Dutch translators' and interpreters' association (NGTV) and SENSE, the Society of English Native-Speaking Editors in the Netherlands.
